Te Pumautanga o Te Arawa Trust represents around 24,000 people of 11 Te Arawa iwi and hapu (known as the affiliates) whose area of interest covers over 500,000 hectares. The iwi and hapu represented are:

Te Pumautanga o Te Arawa Trust (TPT) was formed on 1 December 2006 as a legal entity established to receive, hold and manage settlement assets negotiated on behalf of its affiliates. At present the Trust is working towards the introduction and passage of settlement legislation through Parliament.
